Dr Caitlin Pearcy is a Clinical Psychologist at Cygnet Clinic. Caitlin is available for individual consultation and has experience in working with depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, perfectionism, addictions, trauma, personality disorders, low self-esteem, and grief and loss. She has a passion for working with adults and older adolescents and has a particular interest in complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and borderline personality disorder. 

Caitlin works with her clients to create a non-judgemental, supportive, and safe space. She utilises a range of evidence-based treatment approaches based on the needs of her clients. These include Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Metacognitive Therapy. Additionally, Caitlin works as a tutor at Curtin University. 

Caitlin’s PhD research focused on the use of self-help therapy for Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
