Lisa is a Clinical psychologist registrar. She currently works at Cygnet Clinic and is available for face to face, phone, and telehealth sessions. She also works as a sessional academic at Edith Cowan University.
Lisa is conducting research on the impending changes to the diagnosis of personality disorders. She has contributed to assessment and research on schizophrenia, child cognitive development, personality disorder diagnosis, and parenting capacity assessment.
Lisa has an interest in personality traits and how they contribute to individual differences, career choice, mental health, and relationships. Clinically Lisa has experience supporting people experiencing first episode psychosis, substance dependency/addiction, barriers to employment, and mental health issues such as mood and anxiety disorders. She has worked in outpatient and inpatient hospital settings including forensic, community mental health clinics, and community drug and alcohol services. Lisa’s experience includes providing group and individual therapy. She has been trained extensively in psychological assessment and report writing for research, clinical, and medico-legal purposes.
