Clinical Supervision, Professional Development Workshops & Lectures

Clinical Supervision

Cygnet has experienced clinical supervisors registered with AHPRA (BAS). We supervise registrars undertaking advanced specialist training as well as postgraduate students on practicum. We have AHPRA registered Clinical Supervisors for Registrar Programs (Clinical) available for external supervision (or agency contracted supervision). Please contact us to find out more about our supervision services and availability.

We regularly undertake supervision of final year Masters students on clinical placement in their 2nd year. All practicums must be arranged through your university practicum co-ordinator.

Professional Development Workshops

Leverage the unique expertise of Cygnet Clinic's practitioners, who are distinguished leaders in both advanced clinical practice and academia. Our clinic was founded by a group of university-based clinicians, and many of our team members (including Associate Professors and university department heads) continue to teach in the tertiary sector alongside their clinical work.

This dual focus ensures our professional development training is grounded in the latest evidence-based research and enriched by extensive, real-world clinical experience.

Professional Development Training

Cygnet was born from a group of clinically trained staff at major universities working in conjunction with local medical practice. We have a number of staff that teach in the tertiary sector in addition to working clinically with us. This includes heads of department as well as Associate Professors (both contracted and adjunct). We have provided full day workshops for a number of professional bodies including Medicine, Social Work, Psychology, First Responders and Legal professions.

We also have Psychologists with Masters level training in Occupational and Industrial Psychology with the capacity for workshops in a number of industries with the target of improving workplace safety by focussing on improving psychological wellbeing (and therefore minimising harm and lost productivity).
