Profile
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience. The majority of my experience has been working with children, adolescents and their families on a variety of issues. These issues include anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation and self-harm. I also have extensive experience within the school setting and so work with youth with psychological, behavioural and learning difficulties. I also have a particular interest in resilience and social issues having completed my Master’s thesis on cyber bullying.

Worked with a variety of clients including children, youth and adults. These clients presented with a variety of clinical issues including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder and adjustment disorders. Completed behavioural assessments and assessments for Court. Provided psychological services to headspace. Co-facilitated a group therapy program for adults with depressive disorders.

Clinical Psychologist, Servite college;Perth, WA — 2009-Current
Worked with youth and their families on variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioural and learning issues. Provided professional development to staff and parents. Supported administration staff with critical incident management. Facilitated whole school programs including the Cyber Friendly Schools Project.

School Psychologist, Education department; Karratha, WA — 2006-2008
Worked in several primary schools, high school and an education support centre for children with diagnosed disabilities. Provided psychological services to a remote community. Provided professional development to staff and students and supported with critical incident management.

Clinical Interests

Specialise in working with youth and families. Extensive experience working with children and youth in the school setting so have a thorough understanding of school related issues. This includes completing intellectual and behavioural assessments.
Particular interest in working with clients with anxiety related issues including specific phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and adjustment disorders. Currently practice using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
