Profile
Kerry is a Clinical Psychologist who has over 16 years of experience. She currently works half a day at Cygnet Clinic (Saturdays) and works full time in a Government Youth Mental Health Service as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. Kerry is registered as a Clinical Supervisor with AHPRA (registrar program). 

Kerry commenced her career in the drug and alcohol field where she worked for 7 years before moving into the mental health field where she remains. Kerry’s roles have included providing psychological interventions to individuals, couples and groups. She also has significant experience in supervising other clinical psychologists and allied health professionals and has also had experience in managing mental health services. 
Kerry is a Senior Clinical Psychologist on our team and part of the Cygnet Leadership Group.

Experience
Kerry has extensive experience in both the non-government and government sectors and has specialised in the areas of youth/adult mental health issues and drug and alcohol issues. Kerry continues to work in the public mental health system as a Senior Clinical Clinical Psychologist.

Clinical Interests
Kerry has an extensive range of clinical interests which include complex trauma and abuse, post traumatic stress disorder, relationship dynamics and interpersonal difficulties, mood disorders such as depression and a range of anxiety disorders, self worth, self identity and self esteem issues, grief and loss issues, stress management, emotional and anger dysregultation, adjustment to life changes, personality disorders, eating disorders, self harm and suicidal ideation, diverse gender identity and sexuality issues and general wellbeing issues such as work life balance and general life satisfaction.
Therapeutic frameworks she utilises include schema therapy, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness skills, narrative therapy and psychodynamic therapy

Referrals
Kerry is currently accepting new referrals from adults with a range of different issues. Clients can self refer or seek a referral from their GP. She is currently only available on Saturday mornings.
