Shen is a fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is endorsed in the area of Clinical Psychology. She has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in community, outpatient and custodial settings. Shen is an empathic, approachable, and dedicated clinician who works within a client-centered approach, and tailors evidence-based interventions to suit the needs of the client. She endeavours to provide a respectful, safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space to allow clients to safely explore their past/current experiences and address their difficulties so they can improve their quality of life.

Clinical interests: mood and anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, suicidality and self-harm, anger, complicated grief, Indigenous mental health issues, chronic pain, offending behaviour, complex trauma, PTSD, relationship and attachment difficulties, self-esteem and identity issues, diverse sexuality and gender issues, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Clinical approaches: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
