Experience
I am an experienced mental health support worker, with a background in providing personalised care to NDIS participants. I have delivered tailored support focused on enhancing participant’s everyday living, promoting community participation, and collaborating with healthcare providers to coordinate individualised care plans. I have experience in providing support specifically to participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and intellectual disabilities. Additionally, I have provided respite care for young children of culturally and linguistically diverse families, demonstrating my commitment to inclusive and compassionate care. I recently completed my first placement of my Master of Clinical Psychology, to which I provided Cognitive Behavioural Therapy over Telehealth to children and young adults with depression and anxiety. The experience of my first placement sparked my attention to anxiety, depression and the impacts of stress across various stages of life.
I have an interest in conducting psychological assessments to assess cognitive functioning in various areas of the lifespan. I additionally have a passion for neurodevelopmental disorders, understanding how the brain works and how it affects behaviour, learning, and social interaction. I would like to learn more about parenting and how attachment can impact future relationships for individuals
