Erfan combines evidence-based approach with a warm, engaging and conversational approach with clients. He is dedicated to understanding the development of problematic patterns by means of thorough assessment to inform evidence-based and effective intervention. Erfan has worked in both government and private settings and assisted individuals, couples and teams for over 20 years. He has also worked as a senior manager, managing and empowering psychological and multidisciplinary teams. Erfan endeavours to provide a respectful, safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space to allow clients to safely explore their past/current experiences and address their difficulties so they can improve their quality of life and psychological wellbeing.

Clinical Approaches

Erfan takes a transdiagnostic integrative clinical approach from different modalities, theoretical frameworks, systems and attachment theory. Erfan uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Meditation, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion Focussed Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method couples counselling.
