Dr Ravi Agrawal is a Perth-based Consultant Pain Specialist (FCAI, DipPainMgt, FFPMANZCA) with over a decade of experience in the assessment and treatment of complex acute and chronic pain. His key areas of expertise include fibromyalgia and widespread pain, abdominal and pelvic pain, headaches and injury-related pain conditions, including DVA, ICWA and workers’ compensation cases.  Dr Agrawal provides multidisciplinary, evidence-based care, combining medication optimisation, interventional procedures such as spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation, and close collaboration with allied health professionals to help patients restore function and quality of life. 

Approach

His areas of interest include neuropathic pain, neck and back pain, headaches, arthritic joint pain, pelvic and abdominal pain, cancer pain, fibromyalgia and other widespread pain conditions, post-surgical pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and post-herpetic pain. He utilises a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach incorporating physical therapy, pain-medication management, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), chronic pain education, spinal injections, radio-frequency ablation, and regenerative medicine techniques.  He is a Director of CAM and has a special interest in advanced multidisciplinary team-based treatment for chronic pain.
